​I love gum. What’s not to like? It’s all the great flavor of candy, only it doesn’t disappear after chewing. But, did you know there are actually some pretty great benefits from chewing gum?

Some studies have concluded that the act of chewing gum can actually help you maintain focus. This is especially true if the task involves visual memory or repetition. Gum is like an “old school” fidget spinner.

So, we’ve already settled that gum is awesome. But, which brands of gum are worth chewing? Let’s find out…

There are more brands of gum than one could ever count, let alone chew. But, who says they’re all worth chewing anyway? Without further ado, here are the top 28 gum brands.​

With 9,000 flavors (maybe a slight exaggeration) and numerous variants, Trident is the undisputed king of gum. I think we can all agree Tropical Twist is the best flavor.

The top-selling twist-wrapped gum in America, Dubble Bubble is an American icon. While available in several flavors, the original bubblegum flavor is a true classic.
​

Like Trident, Wrigley has an enormous selection of flavors to choose from. But, their most popular is arguably their doublemint, and for good reason – it’s the minty stuff of legends.

Bazooka Joe, like Dubble Bubble, is another classic “gum-flavored” style of gum – with comics! I grew up chewing this stuff, and still enjoy a piece from time-to-time. Tasty gum and a comic, what’s not to like?

Wrigley’s finds another spot on this list with their minty-licious Winterfresh gum. Winterfresh gum has a unique minty taste that actually lasts. When you’re not in the mood for traditional mint, this is a solid choice.
